Had our daughters First Holy Communion party in Toughers at the weekend.
Great communication from Tara when booking and I didn’t have to worry about a thing on the day.
Food was lovely and the service from all the staff was excellent.
We had a lovely private area for the kids to play music and dance while the adults relaxed.
We arrived at the restaurant at 20.20. At 20.25 the waitress advised us that the kitchen closes in 5 minutes. The restauant is shown as open until 10pm online. We ordered starters and mains/sides, which arrived together at 20.45. When the other guests meals arrived, I was told that my main was no longer in stock, and the kitchen was closed, thus I only got a side of chips. I then tried to order drinks at 20:50, the waitress arrived and said the bar was now also closed, so no drinks. At 20.55, the staff told us to leave as soon as we could, as they were closing. Altogether disappointing.
